Default ZR1 Carbon Front Splitters, OEM vs Aftermarket?

I’m trying to find out what aftermarket ZR1 Splitters comes close to matching the factory OEM units? I’m seeing Extreme Online, RPI and a whole lot of others. So which clone comes closest to a factory OEM unit? Let me hear your recommendations? Thanks

The best one I have seen, is the carbon fiber one from Callaway Cars. It's neat, as the high center section makes it less likely to drag on driveways or stab the entrance ramps of driveways. I know this from having this and not having such issues. It's a well-made deal.

If you want to match OEM, then C7 Carbon or Extreme Online Store are your options. Stay away from RPI (i.e. Southern Car Parts & Parts For Your Car).

I second what Jabcat said. I have bought the front splitter and side skirts from C7 carbon and they are absolute quality for a fraction of the price.

RPI ripped off the Callaway design and claimed a customer told them what they wanted…right after the 2012 B2k reveal. It’s a joke to this day. My guess is the customer said “I want a Callaway splitter for less.”

They quit selling a carbon version pretty quickly…wonder why

Is there an aftermarket splitter with a better ground clearance than the oem unit ?

I had to remove my CF splitter from the zr1 to prevent destroying it in my driveway…

As said earlier, avoid RPI at all costs!

I know but I am looking for a cheaper alternative to the callaway splitter.

I don't want to spend $2000 on a part (if available) that I might blow up after 1 day...

I have one on my car that I drive all the time. My car is lowered and I am careful about curbs and angled drive entrances.

Wrap with with Xpel and rock it!

I hear you, but remember, it’s a class a part, perfect, especially compared to what else is out there in the aftermarket. The only thing more expensive of course, is the cost of regrets. If you buy the wrong part or it’s junk, then you’re buying parts twice. Sometimes they have a sale, 10 to 15% off. You might wanna call them and ask them about that, or maybe they would do a group purchase if you can get more people to buy something, I don’t know. I hope this helps, and just sharing my experiences

Thanks! Never thought about Callaway Cars. I like the raised center section

I've bought a couple front splitters from RPI and a bunch of other stuff and have always had good luck with them.

The parts I got from them were inferior quality, mis-represented as to where they were manufactured (they claimed made in USA, but there was an orange "Made in Taiwan" sticker right on the front splitter), and the customer service was poor. I had to get the Ohio Attorney General's Office and the BBB involved to get reimbursed from them. Oh, they lied to them as well during that process. I still have all of the correspondence and paper trail.

Thanks for all your replies.

So my question now is sounds like between the two C7 Carbon vs Extreme Online are the ones matching the OEM which one comes closest to the OEM product. I’m talking about the weave patterns matching and the finish.

I've purchased a few of the Extreme Online C/F splitters and have been fairly happy with them.

Has anyone actually compared all these aftermarket splitters to see which one does come close to the factory OEM unit. I understand that some of you are using the aftermarket’s but I’m looking for a replacement for my factory unit that comes with a close matching the quality and the weave pattern.
