^^^ Thanks. Still have that one. Don't know for sure, but I think it's the only Night Race Blue Callaway C7 Z06 that was done. Been bulletproof and trouble-free. Only thing I've done to it is new tires and put HRE P40 wheels on it.
OP - if you can't find a Callaway C6 Z06 you like, don't over look the Callaway C6 Grandsports - fun rigs.

Here's the Canadian one. I bought it almost a year ago from a dealer in Toronto. It's actually headed into the shop next week to have the motor torn down and redone with new heads, cam, forged pistons and some other goodies . Reason being there's a very slight noise that could either be something in the heads or a bad lifter. I bought the car with 6200 miles on it. and right away it blew out one of the cats. I sent it into the shop, dynoed it with the bad cat at 615 wheel hp. did headers, high flow cats and injectors, It dynoed at 637. 2500 miles put on it since then and now for preventative maintenance, I'm having the motor torn down and redone. It's an awesome car that gets looks everywhere I go, (could be the SSB with competition grey wheels and tinted windows) It's definitely a keeper. Some people don't care for the Callaways, say their over priced for what they are, but in all fairness, they do have history and a deep rooted lineage.

Awesome looking car. And yeah, in fairness, those "people" are wrong. Always.

@OnPoint
Your SC757 is absolutely gorgeous, and even used/featured on the website: www.plycargroup.com
The Night Race Blue sure looks classy. The hole in the hood, well, that scares weak and fragile souls

Dumb question here. How is rain / weather exposure managed with the top cover of the supercharger coming through the hood? It’s cool looking and serves to dissipate heat, but I would be hesitant taking it on long trips. Also keeping the engine bay in pristine condition.
Rain water runs off the supercharger, down the engine splash shields, and to the ground. It's fine. A non-issue in my experience.

I try not to drive in bad weather. The cup 2 tires are a handful in the damp alone. But after a wash, a leaf blower works great! Since water does pool on the top of the blower.

How would the SC627 compare to the C7 Z06? Would seem that SC627 would be a nice alternative at a competitive price.

The SC627 is a great driving car and without the ultra wide tires (and wider body) it's got reasonable fuel economy for similar straight line performance. It's also not a chore to drive, making it much more enjoyable on a daily basis. I've driven both, so this comes from direct experience

There are definitely a few grand sport models from the C7 era, But it didn’t have the same price point advantage during C6. When you take the modified version of a grand sport with the SC627 package and compare to a stock Z06, I think the Z06 is going to have a slight price advantage. That may or may not be important, and that may have changed in today’s goofy car market

My inputs on the SC606 LS3 based on a 2010 GS manual 3LT coupe , very nice longtrip car so solid.
Have used it on the track and no issues with overheating and oil temp no issues , i think maybe this is thanks to the track oriented manual GS coupe it is based on but the Z06 is a better track car.
Negative positive is i think more weight over the front end , the targa is well nice but can rattle some what , it does not have that raw madness of a NA LS7 instead it comes as a freight train from the bottom and at full throttle it screems at a meakly 85db so it is very quiet with Callaway DD exhaust , overtaking at speed is simply outstanding and it just keeps accelerating for ever.
Identity is another issue where do it belong among the C6 generation sometimes it feels it is maybe the little uggly duckling if you know what i mean.

I ended up buying an 08 Z06. Already did aftermarket headlights, taillights, fog lights, marker lights, MGW short shifter, and have AHP heads, TSP headers and xpipe, and volant CAI coming in to get installed and tuned in the next week or two. Thanks for the input
