Both are beautiful wheels! Does the Alcantrara ever get matted down or oily/sweaty? Is that top center ring mainly for road racing/looks?
No issues with the Alcantara. My shift **** and center console lid still look brand new after 10 years. Jay Leno also has a good video floating around the net on how to care for Alcantara/suede interiors.
For me, the cf center mark is for appearance. Ties in the bottom cf and the cf shift **** cap.
OK I finished the install , very easy but for swapping the air bag cover over the air bag ,you have to manhandle the cover off the air bag ,pry the rubber cover off the metal tangs with a small flat screw driver and pry the new cover back onto the metal tangs ,I just was not sure thats how it is done .

It gets much easier the more you do it. I was able to swap my new wheel in about 5 min
