You need to replace your stock coupler with a solid one, that is most likely your culprit.

Loosen the SC belt tensioner and check the play between the pulley and shaft. If there is any, it is the SC isolator coupler and not the LS9. Mine had a 1/2” of play. My SC was replaced under warranty at 51K miles but the rattle was there long before it was replaced.

Not fixing it can lead to SC rotors bearing issue meaning complete SC rebuild by Eaton

Yup and if you're already doing all that work then you might as well put on a pulley, change or reinforce the bricks, and then of course get the car tuned.
That was my approach anyways 😂.

Since it was replaced under warranty, I believe you will have the same problem again because of the defective design of the isolator coupler.
At 18k on the clock, I replaced my coupler with a ZZP coupler. It's very well made. The OEM coupler starter to wear a groove on the shaft!

What did those changes net you in RWHP gains? I did the bricks and the coupler, but stayed away from even a small pully change as I didnt want to address cooling due to the smaller pully.

I did this job by my self. Being meticulous means it’ll be time consuming. Dont let negative Nancy’s steer you away from doing work to your own car.
