Bought a wrecked ZR1, does anybody recognize this car?
Hey guys, I bought this thing and it looks like It's modded pretty good. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about the car? It's pretty unique and would be cool to figure out what mods it has.
From what I can see it has slicks, meth injection, no seats so I'm assuming they were taken out.

We can probably tell you info about the mods if we could see the engine bay. Things like the LPE 710 kit for the LS9 is easily recognizable.

Plus one for the VIN at least you can check on the Zr1 registry you’ll know from what dealers it came from when new and see the original window sticker

You need the last four digits of the vin then check out the ZR1 registry. Maybe get lucky and it has been updated. You can update it with your info. Every ZR1 is on the registry, not every ZR1 has been updated. https://www.corvetteactioncenter.com...rowse_2009.php

I was able to track down the previous owner and he owned it since new. He was super great to talk to, and really spent a lot of time getting the car sorted for the track.
He did a lot of mods (kept the engine stock) and was able to get 670rwhp out of it. Ported blower/tb got him to 620 rwhp, and E85 got him to 670 rwhp.
Deciding on whether I build it back up or part it out. It's a super nice car and only 15k miles...

Oh well must've missed the memo, a ST really sinks my suggestion.
In any event back to stock --all-way-around-- it'd be an inexpensive, desirable Corvette for your pleasure at bargain $.
Just curious, unless I missed that too () how'd it wind-up w/ a ST?
TIA

I bought it from an insurance auction, so it had been totalled and had a pay out.

You don't have anymore photos of the car ... especially the left side that you said was wrecked ?
Mind sharing some photos with us ...
Do you now have the car in your possession ?
