wish they would show some more footage of shifting with the sequential gearbox.

Awesome build.

sequential or conventional it’s still a manual transmission you need clutch for sure

Guess what I'm asking is when the clutch pedal is used with a sequential

well if it's anything like a motorcycle trans, you could probably get away with rev matching... but I would assume the clutch is required to start from stand still...

Clutch is used to get the car moving in 1st. After that you don't need it. If the ECU is good enough, it can blip the throttle for rev matching during downshifts as well without the clutch.

Driving around town though, under 3k rpms it's more comfortable to just use the clutch for every shift. These transmissions are suited to track life and shift a lot harder than a synchronized gearbox.

Anyone know what hood that is and who is importing the Tikt carbon parts now. Looks like Tikt is missing from the Katech site.

Vengeance is an importer of TIKT. The only "issue" is they have to install it, they won't ship the parts to you for installation. I don't know who the hood manufacturer is.

A fine example of a sequential no lift shift in action..

You can buy the hood directly from TIKT, they will ship it by UPS or DHL and instalation can be done by anyone as it is direct replacement part. Shipping will be relatively expensive dough and the alternative is to order via Callaway as they have big crates with parts coming from TIKT all the time.

The hood is a Halltech DRED that I added the vented insert to.

Thanks -

The Sequential Gearbox is great! Shifting is obviously much faster, with only a drop of a couple hundred RPM between shifts. Did have a Pro-EFI ECU installed, which was definitely a great for the additional info available on the screen, engine safety and overall control. The installation of the Samsonas sequential gearbox was done by Vengeance Racing and they said it was pretty straight forward, and any questions they did have were answered by the US distributor FERCOMP - Samsonas USA, who are in Mooresville, NC. The gearbox in warrantied to 1500rwhp and has been installed without failure in 2000rwhp cars - pretty impressive and a good value.

I'm also curious. Any chance I can get a price on just the trans? I was going to use a different stand-alone.

EDIT: Is that cell in the rear hatch for the spray? Details on that?
