Caravaggio Daytona seats!
OE ebony leather with sienna alcantara inserts and orange contrast stitching...with full OE power functions.
Anatomically perfect, superb craftsmanship.
Ready for road or track.
Happy birthday and retirement present to me!
(GM should have offered a sport seat option on a car like this)

Stunning. What a huge upgrade to the interior those must be.

Since I've given up racing as of this year, I just wanted to be able to do a couple of easy track days and get a 'little fix' here and there (just swapping brakes and wheels). But, still go on some nice cruises, for dinners, etc.
Not to build a dedicated track car. And to that end, nothing I've done really makes the car any faster...just easier to drive and more reliable. Hope I'm really done now and can just polish and wax it
Enjoy your season as well!!
I dropped them off on May 16 and picked them up yesterday, June 2.
So, say, 2 weeks since there was a holiday in between
Thanks! They certainly are....and I already had pretty looking 2-color 3LZ seats!
But I'm most pleasantly surprised at how supportive they are, while still being extremely comfortable.
Probably the single most noticeable improvement that can be felt each and every time you drive the car...one that has no compromises

They look great!
I've got the same seats (minus the orange center section) and they hold you VERY WELL on the track ….. a thousand times better than factory/stock leather. They're about as good as it gets without going to a full racing bucket w/harness.

Ok ...So, lets 'cut to the chase' ... How much are these two seats going to cost you right to the door ?
And, do they fit (bolt right up) to the OEM seat rails on our C6 cars ?

I personally would've done the Z06 in black with matching orange Z, but I am OCD like that. Man those are some beautiful seats

Thanks very much everyone!
Took my first real drive in them today and am not disappointed.
They change the experience entirely.
Like a whole new/different/better car.
These were an upgrade that can be enjoyed every moment behind the wheel.
Heck, I feel like sitting in them in the garage going vroom vroom (and I’m 65!)
I don’t know about shipping...I drove to Toronto and dropped my seats off, then drove back/forth again 2 wks later to pick them up...10hrs round trip each time.
he converts your original seats (including frame, electrics, heat, etc.).
Everything works like stock except the seat airbags are eliminated.

i really suggest calling John for more detailed info, options, turnaround, booking a time slot etc.
He was pretty busy with multiple projects and work both times I was there, so timing things around his other commitments may be awkward.
I’ve read stuff about lengthy wait times, so I can’t stress this enough.
But, he sure came through for me exactly as promised.
I had paid a healthy deposit about 5 months ago to book the time slot and he already had the hides and shells ready and waiting for my seats when I delivered them.
These were the single most expensive thing I’ve done to my car and I have no regrets...unlike some other stuff

As others have said, they look fantastic, and I have no doubt they are worth the expen$e. I have been seriously contemplating this, and don't mind spending the $$.
However, for most of us, delivering them ourselves is out of the question (I'm in TX), and I'm not waiting 6+ months for turn around. That is the deal-killer for me. I don't drive my car every day, but with no winter here, I drive it a time or two a week, and won't have it sit for the kind of time required to get these seats. Also have heard of poor communication, etc.
But... that's my problem. LOL Glad you got yours, and glad you're back on the road in short order!!!

Having previously tracked my '02 Z28 (crap seats), 2 different (stock) C6's (crap seats) and a track-prepped '93 Z28 w/racing bucket & harness (awesome!), these Caravaggio seats are REALLY damn good . I do have a Shark-Bar w/harness, but even running with just the 3-point factory belts, I don't move around like I would with normal factory seats.

It’s rare , and I’m usually suffering the consequences of cross-border shopping all car parts from the USA.
You may be able to find a pair of donor seats and send those.
actually, there may be someone close to his shop who has a pair from a car that he’s turned into a race car.
I don’t know him personally (acquaintance of a friend), but I almost went that route. I understand the stock seats are in his basement...
If you’re serious, I can perhaps get you the contact info, but definitely suggest you speak with John Caravaggio first.

I've had this car out to Mosport 5 times now, and they've been absolutely fantastic.

Next, was Mosport a couple of times with ‘Angel Pads’ (for sale now!), and frankly, they were a decent ‘band-aid’ and way better. I also used those at the Glen and they were ‘passable’.
But then I got back into a race car with full containment seat and 6pt harness for a Sebring race last December and decided my own setup was ‘mickey mouse’...so I bit the bullet and proceeded with the Caravaggio seats.
it’s good to hear your comments because I’m hoping they’ll be fine with just locking down the stock ratcheting seat belts.
BTW, could I have seen your car at a JRP Speed Therapy event last year? or perhaps the day before (I arrived early and drove up to the track to check out the previous day’s going’s on). Maybe not...but it looks familiar
