I need to replace the battery terminal end on the negative cable but I am not sure of the wire size. Does anyone know the wire size? I want to make sure before I cut it, but it looks like a #2 or 1/0? This is on a 2009 Z06.

I think it might be a 1/0. I would take a look at the ground wire to the block in the engine bay there I think it might say what size wire it is. Note I think the cover on the wire is relatively thin so it may look like a 2 but when you cut it, it has a bigger in core. You can see on line the core size of the different wires and measure the outside of yours knowing it is a thin cover.

I think it's a 1/0. It's pretty beefy from the factory.
