Default ZR1 airbag cover

Does anyone have a stock airbag cover with the ZR1 emblem in the center they would part with? Or are they available?

FYI you are looking at 2012-13 exclusively part. Only a little under 900 were produced, of that number there is 206 Centennial who'd came with a different emblem on the steering wheel airbag cover. It'll be hard to find IMO. Good Luck.

No problem, have you try to post in the for sale-wanted parts of this forum, there was a completed 2012 ZR1 steering wheel for sale last week. not sure if it was a centennial though.

You have to get a new airbag to get it from GM. Last time I checked I could do around $595 or so with the discount.

you don't have to buy a new airbag. the video I posted shows how to remove the bag the cover and remove the center logo and replace it with the zr1 logo he purchased from the website. its not that hard

Rebadge design doesn't have the ZR1 badge on their site. At least I couldn't find it?

I got mine from APSIS a few years ago for about $170.00. You may have to contact Jersey directly if you dont see it on the site.

WOW $170.00!!!! for that. I realize these things take some work to make but WOW. I'll stick with my stock logo. I'm sure someone in the know could contact the company that made them for GM and get some made up providing they license it.

I also updated the steering wheel to the 2012-2013 which gives the interior less of the cheapo look. The emblem is actual carbon fiber not overlay. APSIS is definitely pricey but worth it for me.

No criticism here at all. I've spent money on things others wouldn't too. I would like to find a replacement ZR1 air bag emblem though. I've bought things from Apsis (Jersey) before and he aint cheap. However, sometimes he is your only choice.

The problem with rebadge is they don't get back with you. I've been waiting about 2 weeks for an email response.
Has anyone been able to contact them successfully?

And if anyone gets info from Apsis, I would appreciate it if you could share.

Thanks,
Mark

You're better off getting a replacement airbag cover from Vasiliy at RFEDesign if you're gonna drop nearly $200 on that badge from Apsis. He covered mine in alcantara with stitching that matches OEM stitching. He can custom make you any sort of carbon fiber emblem you want to go with it. You can also get it covered in leather. The stock airbag cover looks so cheap if you have one of the newer 2012+ wheels.

Here's a thread where he did mine (NOTE: Center emblem is stock Z06 badge from 2012+ airbag. I already had it so I didn't bother getting a custom emblem).
