Uhh, what about the one in Qatar that runs 8s?

Not the highest traps, not the fastest speed. So while impressive, it is not a record unless they want to add a bunch of other modified like fastest in the world if the world is only North America.

Was thinking about that, think that one is a 500 cubic inch this one is 427 and isn’t on alcohol which I think that one is and uses a crazy intake and is no where near street legal..... but you did catch us....lol

Catch us? You work for AHP now or something?

The other one is not on alcohol, and both are gutted out race cars, so I guess it depends on your definition of street legal as neither of them are.

Weight I think on Sebastian car is like 2900 pounds or something like that but he can chime in on details. At that weight something had been removed. He has done a lot with car and has produced some amazing time slips

My car are far away from gutted car. Full interior with passenger seat removed only. 3LZ door panel, full electric windows, radio, speaker and all carpet on. And sure I'll bring kids to school with it. I'll do about 2000 miles a year with the car. (In my area that mean about 6 month of great weather with no snow and no salt on the road). And I will neither be gutted when I will match Ahmed actual record at 8.98. I will get out the car next year and be still a 427ci like specified by AHP post. Still on MSD plastic intake under the stock Z07 CF hoods.

BTW, I'm not saying that I not have lightweight parts and or not removed the A/C that I have barely used since I own my car. Weight of the car his know here and plenty of guys see the car. A couple of well know US and CAD guys on that forum have witnessed my car run a full day at the track. BTW car have full rear brakes this year in case someone asking

I would like also to take the time to tell to Ahmed that he have a damn nasty built and he will get his goal granted. Congrats on the new built Ahmed, and keep the hard work on !

Nice Seb, I'm sure you can hit the 8's! What sort of suspension are you using? I am trying to decide what rear spring rate to go with on my coilovers.

Hi Jim, Vararam, sorry. But RPMEXTRA and ROBGOV are both using your nice intake and still be very fast on the list. High 9.5x car and low 9.6x car manually shifted. They will catch up this post soon.

GX427, just to be clear, this is not a 100% SBE ( stock block engine) Car have Darton sleeves and ARP main studs. But 100% stock LS7 rotating, pistons, rings, rods bearing and crank and factory LS7 engine block. The sleeves job was done at Darton east by Howard. This guys can confirm to anyone the stock rotating was used.

Hey Thanks GX427!!!
Yeah its crazy how fast Seb is able to push the stock LS7 rotating assembly. He has everything dialed in just right and is just flat out amazing at this.

I mean really step back and really looking at it... you have basically a stock body and interior c6z06 running the stock rotating assembly and going 9.135s in the 1/4 mile! Just amazing!
The c6z06 with the right mods in the right hands is a world beating super car!
