Picked up a low mileage ZR1.
I had an 07 Z06 that I found with 5700 miles that I got to 585whp and loved. At the time I only had a carport and was have to pay to store my car at a friends shop which meant I didn’t get to drive it that much. I sold it and have regretted it ever since. One of my friends collects low mileage late model cars and doesn’t drive them. 😬 He had just acquired this 2012 one owner ZR1 with the very rare (only 2 in 2012) red interior option. He found something he wanted more 2 weeks after getting it and said he sell it to me for what he had in it which was almost $10k below loan value. He had never even titled the car to himself. I couldn’t pass it up. So here is my 231 mile 1 owner 2012 ZR1.

Nice score!!! Now put some miles on it! Or let it sit and when people realize they don’t want sports cars with a bunch of nanny features and the price starts to climb you’ll make a healthy profit! Either way it’s a great buy! Congrats man🇺🇸

Wow! what a score - enjoy that badboy!! Congrats. Can't wait until our weather turns soon and this crappy white stuff melts in a few weeks - miss driving mine.

Thanks everyone. It will definitely get driven and won’t remain stock for long. I’ve already got my eyes on some wheels since I need to replace the 2010 build date stock tires that are on it. I’ve got a set of Elite Pedals on it with a dead pedal mild to wild switch. I’ve changed the diff, transmission, and clutch fluid. I did a hard break in from 231 to 500 miles to seat the rings, hopefully it hadn’t been idled a bunch previously and still had the scoring on the cylinder walls. I changed the oil after the break in at 500 miles and I’ve been keeping it under about 75% of redline until I get to 1k miles and then I’ll change the oil and filter again. At that point the beating and modding will commence. I’ll probably do some 2” longtubes first because it’s way too quiet and I miss the sound of my cammed Z06 with headders and the Billy Boat fusion system. I’ve already talked to Greg at Kong about some porting.
