Hard to imagine this C6 ZR1 has only 6 miles! Curious what it will hammer for.

Going to need a special guy. Value isn't 80K but it may be to very few people who may be a collector. There was a 2013 ZR1 with 450 miles over here on the east coast of Florida for sale forever. They wanted in the 80's and it didnt happen. There are C7Z's for 60K which have more bells. Personally I would want PTM which the 2009 didn't have. I'd be very curious too. We'll see.

Wonder if it still has 9 year old gas in the tank. Pop the gas cap. Probably smells like used paint thinner.

I would do an even trade my c7z06 for it

my biggest concern would be the gas.

All the extra bells bells and whistles in the c7 z06 are as useful as using an electric fork to eat with.

Don't understand why guys like this take these to auction. Just take it to carmax, done. If you don't care about the lost opportunity cost on at least 50k over a 9 year period just take the 80k loss..... or better yet if you have that kind of money just keep it and track it. Sad...It must have made a great paperweight.

here is why guys like this take a car like this to auction. they have lots of money, they are bored, and have nothing else better to do.—some guys like this horse trade lots of different cars . Some of them they make a bundle on some of them they will have lost a bundle on. It’s sport to them and might even be a tax write off. Maybe this guy has several cars here and what’s the big deal to throw another one in. He may also have some classic Ferrari he will make 100k or some other rare find most of us on this forum couldn’t give a crap about and he’ll make a bundle on. It’s just a business transaction. He bought it new speculating.

He has some very cool cars. He's selling 2 FGT as well, he'll make money on those. His speculation was off on the zr1 lol.....

Did you have to pay the hammer price plus 10% buyer's fee? If so was it worth it?

will be interesting to see.

I picked up a 478 mile '11 ZR1 last November... worth every penny I paid, as it might have well been in a time capsule... but I didn't pay close to $80k, either.

I would guess it goes for $78k + 10%. It all depends if there are two people who want it.

The buyer will probably resell it with 7 miles. I would be a little apprehensive of an almost 10 year old car with no warranty and only 6 miles. Probably going to have to spend so bucks just to get the fuel system functioning and the brake fluid has to be rotten. Antifreeze has to be separated into water and glycol. Since these cars are getting old, I’d prefer one with 15k to 20k. At least all the bad stuff would be fixed. Good luck!!

Plus a 10-12% buyers premium, depending on if in-person, phone, web.
