Default 2013 z06 exhaust question

My 2013 just has 4 tips and I don't see any butterfly valves.

Is/was this some option?

Love how mine sounds btw. Stock all.

You should also have 4 cats...the 12/13 models all came that way. Many buy a Corsa mid-pipe specifically for 12/13 cars that eliminates the two rear aft cats...which is essentially how the 06-11 vehicles all came.

Possible someone removed the butterflies or its too dirty for you to see them

Most likely you have an aftermarket CAT back

False alarm, it's stock. Butterflies stuck open (fuse pulled?). I could not see it clear on the transport truck. In it's new garage now waiting for cleaning.

Actually glad I can tone it down, it is droning pretty loud on the freeway just cruising in 6th.

Where is the fuse for butterflies? Pass kick panel? Which # & size?

The fuse box is inside the car(passenger side). Pull the carpet out where your foot would rest and the npp fuse is in the pic below:

I love running with the pipes open, but I don't recall any drone. Probably just annoys the average driver around me, but to me it's like an old mid-year or C4 with side pipes. Mine retains the stock 2012 exhaust (OE from the manifolds back, but a Corsa X-pipe is on the list,) and I have a mild 116 TSP cam.

I usually run mine with the fuse pulled. It has a slight drone on the freeway but I don't do a whole lot of freeway cruising so it's not enough to bother me. It's very easy to pop the fuse back in for when I need it to be quiet.

Get a Mild to Wild switch and you can activate the butterflies when you want.

On the freeway under 85mph I just leave it in 5th gear. That takes away the drone and lets the car run in the 2500rpm range where it is happy and not lugging.

That is what I found, much more drone in 6th than 5th. Higher rpm cancels it out to a certain extent.

Vacuum is not connected on Hi Ram to control the dual modes, I just cruise in 5th like you do.
