Default ZR1 Engine Cover / Shroud Removal

My search skills are failing me miserably. I apologize if this has been addressed, but I cannot find the thread(s).

How do you remove the plastic U-shaped cover from the top of the engine?

Thank you in advance.

Little rubber tabs and grommets. It just pops off and pops on. Then look at the side and tell us who assembled your engine!

^^^Why would he want to leave it off? You don't need ZR1 emblems either but you don't take them off the car...or maybe some people do. Hell, I give up.

If I had a solid hood, I would leave the cover off. I hate them. But, it doesn't quite look right, with the hoses and stuff, peeking through the bubble.

Won't be much left if you remove all the "unnecessary plastic bullshit."
