My house is in Port Charlotte and I didn't even lose power. Wow! We dodged a major bullet here...

my buddy down in houston took his cars to a multi-story parking garage, went almost up to the top and left it there.

I've heard local dealers put their cars in all the parking structures around a Fort Myers good thinking on their part not so good for others.

Glad to hear that your car is OK. I also am in Ft Myers, but this is the first time I have been on CF since before the storm. If I had known, I would have offered to go get your ZR1 and put it in my garage in Gateway (out by the airport). Just glad that you did not lose it and will be available when you return in season!

Glad to hear you lucked out. If it happens again I'll drive there and take it somewhere safe until the storm passes
