2006 Z06 inquiry
I have a 2006 Z06 black/black 2lt with 1612 miles on it. It has never been raced or tracked and never rained on. maintained in enclosed garage. Pristine condition.
I am THINKING of selling it and would like to know what I can realistically sell it for....I am not desperate to sell or in a hurry so low ***** would not be considered.
I also have a brand new set of original z06 polished wheels w/ Pilot sport tires which are new to go with the car
any thoughts appreciated

This comment probably isn't helpful, but, what a shame.. The car is now 11 years old, seals (potentially) dried out from lack of use, stored in a garage like a vintage bottle of wine locked away in a cellar, never fulfilling it's purpose for being..
What a shame..
Anyway, I absolutely encourage you to sell it. As far as value, it will be worth slightly more, maybe $1K to $2K than a similar car with standard mileage for its age.

You should be able to fetch $37-38K with little to no problem...Might take a little longer while for the right buyer to come along if you're looking for much more than that. $40K would be a stretch IMO. Good Luck!

The seals will leak as soon as the car is driven normally. New owner will have to factor in the cost of that repair. I would ask in low $40's and you should wind up close to $40k. Good luck.

For perspective, an '06 1LZ with 572 miles sold for $37,000 back in January. It was at a GM dealer in Houston and they were over $40K when they originally listed it. Took them a long time to sell. It was yellow, which didn't help.

$36-38K depending.
A few months back I bought a 2006 with 5K miles.

I've been looking for a Z06 and it seems that they're priced at about 40K + or - depending on what the owner thinks their baby is worth. Good luck with your sale.

Sorry, but I'm with Dan the C5 Man on this one...what a shame. Car was driven an average of 146.5 miles per year. I guess its fun to go out and look at it. Sorry. Maybe you enjoyed it that way. To each his own. I'm guessing it will bring $36k. Someone is going to have to put new tires on it, have the heads done, all fluids changed, and who knows what else. Tires and heads= $3000+.

thanks for your opinion however circumstances which are none of your business dictated the storage. it is stored properly and has been exercised .....did you bother to pickup on the new oem polished wheels and tires that will go with it if I decide to sell. appreciate the opinion on value the rest well????

I think the prices are a bit optimistic. $34-35k unless you really find some collector person that wants to keep it super low miles and just let it sit, but even then a normal 2lz isn't a rare or collectible car.
Best of luck. Since you are in no hurry, start it at $40k and see what happens. You never know.

IMO, I would start at $40K, there are a few buyers that would be very interested in such a low mileage car, not everyone is, but the population of low mileage C6 Z06's continues to diminish, so you never know until you try it. If you are going to sell, do it now, if you don't get it sold by end of August, the interest will drop off until next Spring.

$35k. The problem with these cars and low miles is that they automatically need tires and heads, at $3k minimum. $38k can get you a newer and fixed car with higher miles. Gotta find the right buyer..there's basically no reason to buy a 2006 over any other year.
