Picked it up in Dallas, drove it home 8 hours. The drive home was a BLAST.
Got a tint yesterday, ordered Extended carbon wing and Skirts and new front tires.
The breaks squeak a lot, and im getting some vibration when I hit the breaks.
Ive read about these cars having vibration issues.
Anyone have any input?
Obviously I have new tires on the way.
Next is possibly replace the rotors and pads?
As long as the car has not been tracked, you should not need rotors at 17K miles. They should last 100K miles under normal driving without much issue.
If you do need rotors, get ready for a decision: (1) new carbon rotors ($$$$$$$); or (2) conversion to regular rotors.
The vibration you talk about is normally seen driving on the highways around 80 MPH. I believe the issue is uneven rotor weights from wheel to wheel. Can be a pain to get set right, but it can be done.
