AHP Stage 4 Head Package and Pushrod Length
Has anyone had to change pushrod length after an AHP Stage 4 Head Package? (Used stock head gaskets and rocker arms).

Push rods
I used shorter pushrods as provided by AHP because I did the .030 milling. I don't believe you need shorter rods unless you do the milling...but I'm no expert.
I can feel the results of the extra compression in the SOP. I like it!

I'll ask Kohle on Monday how much they milled the heads. I asked just for a "clean up" milling.

If you heads were "just" cleaned up during the resurfacing process you will not need new pushrods.

Measure. Any time heads or valve train is touched measure or choose to half *** it.

Unreal has good advise above. Its always best to measure when installing new components. We always measure just to be sure on every set we install in house. A simple counting of the bolt turns from zero lash to 22 ft/lbs will give you a good idea of where your preload is at.
