Nice Z06. You will really enjoy the ride and acceleration (just stock). Not sure how much you should worry about the heads. I think they solved the problems with outside vendors by 2013. I have a 2013 Z06/07 package with over 35,000 miles. A few track miles. No head problems so far ?? Hope your Z06 stays as dependable ! Here in CA we have to be careful about motor mods. Smog laws pretty strict. Supercharger might be a better option out here to add power with no increase in smog potential. Would add a little weight up front ?

Good to hear some positive head info....haha. Car has met all my expectations thus far, performance wise. Looking into some exhaust options. Not sure I want to go the full header route just yet, but we'll see. Really liking the Akrapovic setup w the CF tips.

Headers scare me because of the potential for additional heat in the car interior. Already a fair amount of heat in the center console area. I'm sure some companies have solved the heat problem, but I have not researched fully. I will leave my Z06 stock until warranty is finished.
