Hmmm... first to grab the gold ring here.
Sorry for the bad luck OP. Looking at the crack it would appear that the block "should" be able to be resleeved. A tear-down will let you know that. If you're still intent on keeping it supercharged you might consider an ERL shortblock with a set of forged blower pistons at about 9 to 1 compression, depending on your planned ultimate boost. Depending at the level of desired boost you also should consider some stronger rods. At 10 to 12 psi the stock TI rods should hang in there.

I was going to mention, depending on budget and future HP goals, it may behoove the OP to explore an LSX iron block.

Criminals. $75K, and you'd get $7500 worth of parts (mostly used/embezzled crap), and 6 months would turn into years. Unless you're a celebrity like Jay Leno, then they roll out the red carpet. Jay gets the white glove treatment, you and I get the rubber glove treatment.

LME, Livernois, or ERL
Got to decide on what block to run, aluminum or LSX.
Short block should be $8-9k depending on parts.
Can do a forged ls2/ls3 for $4500ish that will take that all day, but then your looking at 376-408ci. If you can live without 427ci, that is a good option. Will need to swap to a small bore head too.
$12-14k for a long block (lsx or erl based) is going to be the norm, plus add in all the other little added expenses.
A 1000hp build is easy $30-40k. Once you get the motor, then drivetrain goes to ****, then other parts. Think long and hard if you want to do that. I would never build another 1000+hp vette.
