Default Happy 5th Birthday to my ZR1

Today is my '12 ZR1, #67's, I call her Carly for the Carlisle Blue, 5th birthday. Here she is at the end of the assembly line as I watched her being built, just before I hoped in and started her up for the first time and later drove her home after museum delivery. 30K miles and still going strong on that engine I built at Wixom.

Happy birthday!! Mine is a 2011 and is #67! Reading stuff like this gives me some encouragement for engine durability. Mine has 18500 miles on it and runs really well. Reading about valve guide issues and supercharger failures on this forum worries me a little.

You're right, and that was the best part, they gave me #67 which matches my VIN.

I was at Carlisle the year these came out and when the sun starts going down this color really stands out in the crowd. Mine was on the lot so I missed our on the build experience and you are right the Wixom built engines are still the best. Happy Birthday.
