Can you remove left tail light to gain entry into car to pull release to open door to retrieve keys that are in car

The car should not lock if the keys are inside unless its one of the dead spots in the hatch back of the car. Can you see the keys? If so you can be extremely careful an and move the keys with a coat hanger the door should unlock. If not you can use a coat hanger and open the escape handle on the floorboard. Last resort rock the car and see if the doors will open.

Maybe his car battery is dead.if so he can jack his car up and hook up jumper cables to his starter. This should give the car enough juice to recognize his fob.

key fob is in the cup holder and car battery is ok. Been having trouble with the fob being recognized, changed the battery in the fob two days ago hoping that would fix it. Tried rocking the car to no avail

If you have OnStar, call them and they'll unlock it.

Just purchased car. called onstar for help but you have to push the onstar button on the mirror to activate

No back-up FOB??? Can always go to the nearest dealership with your VIN number and they can make you another one.

I hide the "key" under the car so I can gain access to the hatch if I'm locked out. That saved my bacon 1x already.
