Default Advice and Input Please

Hello all,
Just a quick question, I'm going to be installing a aftermarket clutch on my car and, while the driveline is out, I wanted to ask, what kind of couplers would you all recommend to replace the stock ones? Thanks in advance

Unless you specifically need something different than stock to handle more abuse, replacing the couplers with stock ones is the way I would go. There are cars with 100k+ miles on factory couplers. I believe there is actually a BMW or Porsche part number that works too that is slightly stiffer than stock without going to the urethane route. Then you go into the urethane ones(RPM, DSS, etc...). I think somebody actually makes a solid aluminum coupler as well. Then of course you can get into the coupler-less prop shafts from DSS, but I think those arent recommended unless you are over 1000whp as they can introduce more noise and issues than they solve if you dont absolutely need one.

I am planning on doing bearings and urethane couplers when I have my torque tube out when doing my clutch. 550whp now and probably around 570-580 with a few more minor mods.

Thank you for the input, I have read about the noise issue and talked with a few people but, I was wanting to get more people's opinions / input on what they've encountered or experienced, I wont be quite 1,000rwhp but, I should be in the vicinity of 850rwhp -900rwhp

I believe a few people are running zr1 couplers. I wouldn't mess with them unless you are going to make 900+ and run a drag tire, and launch the crap out of it.
