While I don't have figures for the 5.0 other than a 10.1x @ 138 at BMP, the GT500 laid down 756 on a local mustang dyno in Ft. Myers.
Let me know if you need socials, DOB or anything else for verification

So your 600 horsepower Zr1 runs quicker than 10.1 at 138 mph?And by at least a full second according to the way you stretched the mustangs in the video. You need to explain how you achieve that.Maybe its major weight reduction.Lol.Give me a break.

Actually, no. My personal best has been a 10.5x @ 138.10, granted it was on a ***** hot day, no ice in the charge cooler etc.. but that's what it was.

Sounds to me like you're hooked on numbers, maybe a bit too much. Don't read too much into dyno figures, my car made 640whp on a dynojet and 562 on mustang dyno about two weeks ago, but those numbers (like all dyno figures) are relative. Ultimately, what it does on the track (or mexico if that's your thing) is what it does.
Give me a break.
How's 2 cars and the hit?

Safety Car
Mustangs alwasy have shown big hp number, to then get beat by less hp cars....nothing has changed much in 20+ years

I think the point trying to be made is that both cars allegedly trapped 138, yet the ZR1 pulled away like it had a good 8-10mph over the other. A 600rw ZR1 should be a good run for the 700rw 5.0, as usually it does talk a solid +100rwhp in the stang to even things out. However this looked more like a 800rw ZR1 vs. a 700rw 5.0. The results dont make much sense to me either, as gearing and aero do not have that big of an impact at these speeds. Good races, but honestly the ET's quoted (not dyno numbers) do not correlate with the race results.

Your point being? The numbers recited came from the owner of the 5.0, and my own eyes regarding my own and that of the GT500. Maybe it's a hero dyno? Maybe my car had a 'bad day' at the track, at the end of the day does any of it matter? The video (like time slips) doesn't lie.. I wonder if you approach all aspects of life with cynicism of this intensity lol!

You know it's funny, until then I'd never done 60-rolls with this car, I usually like to go from a dig (tires permitting of course) or a 50ish, but you're right, 60 is a damn near perfect spot!

Z's beat everything. Period. Sweet run.

I was watching and thinking the same as the other person, either the Dyno numbers for the Mustangs are from adding chrome to the engines or your more like 800whp. I'm not trying to start a argument with you but I know the Mustangs weigh more but the way you pulled on them, one would think the chrome fell off.
Btw, I own a mustang and a vette so I'm not a hater. Just the video looks like the Mustangs were clearly out numbered under the hoods. Just saying
