Drivers seat problem
Has anyone experienced their drivers seat rocking a little and leaning towards the drivers door? It just overall feels loose. I can't figure out where the problem is coming from. I have taken seat out and can't find the problem. I am considering just buying a new seat with everything with it. Where can I buy entire new seat to match my current seat. It is black with red bolsters.
Thanks for any help.

Burning Brakes
If they are anything like the C5 seats, the play emanates in the seat tracks themselves. They made kits to fix the play in the c5s. Not sure about the C6 seats.

Burning Brakes
I know several vendors made seat track kits to fix the wobble on the C5s. Consisted of taking the seat apart and adding some washers to the inner seat track mechanism. Check with Mid America Motorworks or some of the other big suppliers like Ecklers or Corvette Central. They may have a kit.

I read a thread about a seat that the rivets were loose forcing the long rods to to rock I’m a lightweight 175. I bought a pair of USED sport seats that the driver musts been heavyweight 300 lbs & a manual cause the seat had a broken clevis, & loose motors and was a rocking chair. The electric parts were all good.

Check out C&S in Sarasota FL. They make C5 seat parts out of aluminum like clevis’& riveted bracket replacements with all the fasteners & EZ instructions. C6s? I don’t know.

You do realize this thread is over 3 years old, right? I think the OP would have gotten his issue figured out by now.

2006, Z06 Driver Seat Breakage Issue
I have a 2006, Z06. Bought in 2016 with 30,000km. After 2 years my seat bracket that adjusts the tilt, forward and back, snapped. My mechanic said that this has been a major problem with these seat's as the ratcheting bracket is made of plastic. Also, as you all know, if you are over 50, about 6 feet tall, weigh over 210lbs, have knee and back issues (but love your Corvette baby), getting in takes a special kind of Yoga (Cora-Vetta-Yoga...just thought that up!). Getting in and out requires you to put pressure on the left side of the drivers seat back, over and over again. Plus, while adjusting your back and butt into the seat puts some sheer forces on the plastic ratchet used to adjust the seat. My mechanic was able to find a replacement from a wreckers in Montreal. All was good, being really careful getting in and out, it snapped again! Really frustrating and now unable to find a replacement. If anyone knows where to get a seat so I can break it again, or has a retrofit solution, I would really appreciate it. Love 'Vette's until I physically can't get in one anymore!
