My new ZR1 has arrived
Hello Corvette ZR1 group,
My 2012 Crystal Red Corvette was delivered tonight and I am happy to join the ZR1 group.
I sold my Survivor 1972 Big Block Corvette and my 2006 Corvette and added some cash to get the ZR1.
Here's a picture of it being unloaded.

I look at the new C7s, ZO6s, Z51s and yet the ZR1 is what appeals most to me.
How do you feel your C6 ZR1 rates? I know this is a biased place to ask that question but then again you also had the opportunity to buy a C7 and instead went with the ZR1. For me the ZR1 just looks better. IMO the C7 is just too much bling, maybe I am getting old

The heat soaking problem with the C7 ZO6 turned me off and I am a land speed racer (Won't land speed race the ZR1) and my Turbo Hayabusa is geared for 207mph and the ZR1's top speed of 205 makes it special.
Check out my Turbo Hayabusa latest Land Speed Racing video.

The 2012 3ZR ZR1 sat at the dealer until 2014 when it was first sold to an older gentleman, after a few weeks he brought it back and traded it for something a little more tame. I bought it from the second owner and it had 5000 miles on the clock and since it was sold in 2014 it still has the original 36 month warranty!
With the salt on the roads the car will sit for 3 more months until the roads are fully clear!
The ZR1 is the bargain of all time right now, wicked fast with so much great engineering that you can't pass one up (literally)!
Speed to the Wheels Dan,

Nice color, one of my favorites. I must say it must have been tough to let go of the 72 BB. I still love C3's. My dream is to do a resto-mod of a C3 with a new modern chassis. I only wish. Good luck with the new ride. I made the same decision as you. Bought a leftover new 13 ZR1 instead of the C7ZO6 and in hindsight STILL would do the same.
