New Personal best: 9.6@148mph , stock clutch!
What's up guys! I have not posted on here in a while but I have been staying busy with my zr1! The last time I posted on here I was bolt on's only and went 9.9@142mph. I since have had Fasterproms port the heads, change the cam, cold air intake, exhaust, and added meth. Last time I had the car on the dyno it made 775whp but since then I added the synergy cold air and borla cat-back. I assume the car is right at the 800whp mark. This past Saturday Fasterproms rented out Bradenton Motorsports Park our local track. I put on the 18" rear CCW's with 335 Hoosier drag radials. My car is still on the stock clutch. My first pass of the day was 9.75@148.88mph ! I was VERY happy with this as I was hoping to run in the 9.80's or 9.70's (I went 9.91@146mph 3 weeks ago in the heat), so I immediately hot lapped the car and ran again. Next pass was 9.66@147mph! I was shocked! I ended up running 4 more times and all 4 of the passes were in the 9.60's, with my personal best being 9.61@148.78mph !!!! I could not be happier with my car! It is so stout and such a beast for what it is. Not to mention I drove the car 40 miles to the track, ran all day and drove it home without 1 issue. Jeremy Formato and the crew @ Fasterproms have really done a great job with my car. I will attach time slips and YouTube video of the 9.61 run.
