LS7 swapped into 1LE Camaro.
Thought some of you might be interested to see the results of my latest project. Swapped my LS3 for a LS7 in my 2013 Camaro SS 1LE. I'm running a 235/251 Comp Cam, Stainless Works 1 7/8" LT headers, off roads into factory NPP exhaust. I had a similar combo in my 2006 Z06, made 535 rwhp and 475 rwtq SAE on Dyno Jet. I'm running the stock LS7 intake manifold, I did mill the heads .030" for the 1LE and not using high flow cats, only major differences in the two set ups. Will be heading to Dyno today. Any guesses?

Looks like this combination made 10 rwhp less, but 15 lb-ft rwtq more than my similar set up in my Z06.

They make plenty of power.
Just a lot heavier than something like a Vette.
Similar motor in my z06 was 9mph faster than it was in my 5th gen..

I am expecting it to be about that much slower. What kind of ET were you able to get, if you don't mind? The sacrifices we make for family.

High 11s or 12.0s with the 5th gen in the 120s..
The 5th gen was one of the best hooking cars.
I'd throw everything at it and it would hook so hard it would bog down.
Plus it had an awful shifter in it. Hard to really shift gears in the thing.
Stil one of my favorite cars.
I want to buy a newer body 2014 or so one day..
V6 model and build it up with a mild turbo motor and a 4l80e... Just for a cool family cruiser..
The only thing I regret about that car was buying it brand new and tearing it completely apart.
