Is there a kit of procedure to allow a z06 to have a removable roof?
Im chevy did this for being safe and I dont intend on pushing the car to its full limits but there are days when I would enjoy removing the roof.

Its been done but its cost prohibitive...probably $10K plus. Lots of subframe support work needs to be done to keep the car rigid without the roof. Someone suggested a structural roof "frame" with glass center for a moon roof option...that would be far easier IMO.

I don't have a link handy, but this has been done. An owner here swapped the glass from the base glass roof to a oem z06 roof frame. If I recall the job looked really nice, but took some work.

not enough squeeks? holy cow, I'd never do that. To each his own, I know, but oh my, this is truly the last mod I'd ever consider. Especially as a mod.. GM can't even get it right.

There are a few shops that do it. Conversion was $10-12k.

Might as well just trade in the car for a GS and do H/C/I. Close enough.
