Default Where to get interior trim parts (used probably)

Normally I call junkyards for basic parts, but in the case of trim items, a few places just said they cant really pull and ship that.

I need the part that is just in front of the stick shift, that covers the lighter.

The dealer wants like $250 for it, and I think I might be missing just a spring or slip or something simple (I have the cover, but not whatever holds it in place, as well as the box behind it on the left.)

If you know the part number, try looking on the GM Parts Outlet website...they offer good discounts and free shipping. Otherwise, just Google some of the corvette salvage yards...but I bet they are fairly pricey as well. Maybe even Ebay?

Default Thanks for the awesome link

Never knew there were specific make/model recyclers like that--so organized too.

That is one of the reasons you don't find many Corvette parts at multi-auto junk yards. There are plenty of Corvette recyclers around the country and they can be hard to find. There is Adair's in Arkansas, Cleveland Power and Performance in Cleveland, OH. Contemporary Corvette in Bristol, PA.

A lot of them don't have websites so you need to find their phone number and talk to them.
