Default Why is this forum mostly Vendor Sales?

Most forums I am on have a separate "Vendor Sales" forum for specials, sales etc. You would think that the "C6Z forum" would be full of c6Z information and useful threads. Instead I find I spend most of the time sorting through vendor "sales" that I am not at all interested in. Is there a reasoning behind this? Seems counter-productive and cluttered to me

It is quite annoying. We do need a vendor sales forum.

I agree.

I understand that they pay the bill but their adds does not contribute to tech, the forum seems disorganized and discourage posting.

Its like having an in box full of junk mail.

If I want to purchase something from the supporting vendors, I would be happy to click a few extra times to get to a dedicated forum page.

May be the forum designer and owners shluld take a look at svtp page and see how they are organized.

There is actually a vendor sub forum but whats the point when vendors post everywhere anyway.

I complained about the same thing several years ago, and a bunch of Axx holes from this very same forum bunched up on me told me to stick it. That's the mentally of these so-called experts, they know NOTHING about the corvette. Ever notice all of the stupid things they do to this car?

Internet Brands owns this site now, this advertising was something carried over from the previous owner

This is no joke, i literally scrolled down on the 1st page and randomly stopped and screen shotted it. the green areas are vendor sale threads

believe it or not Corvetteforum is the largest online automotive forum site on the web. This was a ranking in 2012 - i imagine the membership/traffic has grown with the current Gen - C7.

This is a business first

Most of the traffic is in OT Section not car sections. Internet Brands is a Multi million dollar business. The policy of this site should match the other IB sites.

The ads can be so bad that it would hang my browser.

It really isn't just vendor threads. Once in a while there are some "You Gotta fix the heads" threads mixed in among the ads
