Default Where are our tires?

PS2ZP's discontinued, PSSZP's are almost non existent...Lead time of weeks, even months. What tires are we supposed to use?

Kev, don't start me on this So many of us not happy-mine have been back ordered since February and the car is sitting. Tired of hearing a couple more weeks. Michelin is useless if you call them, the reps for the tire places are clueless. If Invos are avail in ZRsized and the Supersports are not here by next week the H*** with Michelin. Cups are not an option for mostly street use...............

There will be a Michelin rep at the bash, someone needs to ask the questions during their presentation. Also ask about cracking PSS, never had this much of a problem with PS2.

My Nitto Invo's are now on my car. I will tell you that I changed the fronts first and noticed that the tire road noise had diminished quite a bit ( I felt the original Michelin Pilots were noisy). The steering seems just as responsive,so we'll see what some spirited driving will feel like with a matched set. Also the Nittos had just arrived from Japan and are nice and fresh...

Are your tires corded or flat or something?
They are not street-able at all?

Invo's are 345's but they do fit.....

I don't believe Invo's to be anywhere near as good as Michelin at the track…so for people that track, it is indeed a problem….hell even on none corvette size they are back ordered (wife's going to Super Sport on the Porsche)…My original PS2 have 5 week ends and 16,500 miles, they are done as well…and my next HPDE is in june…hope they figure something out soon

Deb, it looks like you've just picked up bits of rubber from the track. I believe you're tires appear fine. After some street driving, those rubber pieces should come off...or you can try to scrape them off. Maybe post that pic in the road race section for confirmation.

As far as Super Sports, Tire rack has them in your size as ROF's..I just recently got a pair of fronts for my Carbon Edition Z06. I'll get the rears next when my rears go. I had corded the fronts.

I agree x1000

those are perfectly fine, you just picked up R compound/slick rubber from around the track...a few hot laps will fix that!! (look at F1 car tires at the end of the race, they purposely pick up this extra rubber so they can "make weight" regulations in parc ferme

Still a lot of tread before you even get to the wear bars,

Those have so much more tread than either my track tires or street tires...you don't need new ones yet!
