Last year we bought my mother a 07 convertible base c6 but with me being 6'5'' it is a little lacking in the leg room. I was wanting to know from you zo6 guys if there is anyone that is my height that drive your vettes on a regular basis. I've had my eyes on a zo6 for a while now but am hesitant on getting one because our convertible is uncomfortable for me on long rides. Is there ways to squeeze more room in the zo6 that you all have found?

I am not 6'5 but I am 6'3. I swapped out my stock 09' seats for Caravaggio Race seats. They drop you down lower in the car so your thighs aren't so close to the steering wheel and dash. They also give you a couple inches more head room.

6'3" here and fit just fine with the seat all the way down. I just barely fit with a helmet on. Marrad has a seat that will gain 2" of headroom I've been eyeing for a while.

6'9" and I can tell you the z06 offers the most room! I have one and barely fit!!

I am 6'5", like you, and I have a 07 Z06. I do NOT drive it regularly, but I don't have any issues with fitment. I am in there tight and I could not drive it with a helmet on(no road racing for me, unfortunately, in this monster), but it is not uncomfortable at all. In fact, I bought it used from an owner in Washington State and drove it home to Texas. What a great drive and the first day was so much GREATNESS, I didn't stop til Cheyenne, WY after nearly 14 hours behind the wheel!!!! F'ing awesome.

I'm about 6'4"-6'5" and I fit ok in my z06. Had no problem wearing a helmet. Isn't spacious but not too cramped to take cross country drive either.

Im also 6'5" and I sat in the LX1 and fit great! I have to slouch in the stock seat with a helmet on and when I sit normally without a helmet Im about 1/2" from the B pillar. the Z06 is a little better because the roof panel doesn't come off and there is less in the way over your head.
Be careful with racing seats because they get you low but the side bolsters pull your legs in and they hit the steering wheel. Not the case with the LX1

If my 6' 9" buddy can fit I am sure you could....... Albeit he was a bit uncomfortable.

I'm 6'4 and around 255lbs and don't have much of an issue with room inside the car. I feel like I'm touching my rear to the ground each time I get in it though. lol

The passenger side is a completely different animal at your height. YMMV

I'm 6'7" and I fit. Put a sweater on and it starts getting tight! I fit fine though for the most part, though I am only about 200 lbs. C7 is much worse.

C5 is bigger than the C6 is bigger than the C7. I'm 6'4" 240 lb. My C5 was the roomiest. C6Z is good. Sat in a C7Z, and it is the tightest of the 3 generations. If they continue to shrink the interior, I eventually won't fit.

I'm a little over 6'4" and drive a 2011 Z. I have the Caravaggio Daytona seats. My car spends most of its time on the track. I don't find it very comfortable for daily trips but it's so darn much fun on the track that I put up with the tight fit. With my helment on I have to "scrunch" down just a bit. I thought that was going to bother me by the end of the day but it really doesn't. I don't notice it now at all.

Good friend of mine is 6'11 and 380 lbs and he fits behind the wheel of my Z06. Bit of a squeeze getting in and out but he says its not too bad once he's in there. Only guy I know who had to modify the seat in his 1 ton crew cab truck to make more room

I'm 6'5". If you have stock seats you are good. I just changed to Caravaggio Daytona seats and lost some leg and head room.

I am 6-4 with long legs and no problem with room at all for me. Now getting in and out of the thing is a different story!
