Default Just got a Z06

Recently let go of my cammed 08 artic white z51 coupe and grabbed an 08 jsb Z06. The car has WCCH heads, headers and a cam. Its out of the Ft. Worth area. I believe the previous owner was from Joshua and I would like to know if anyone here knows this car and could tell me what cam is in it and who tuned it. Ive called every local DFW shop I know and none of them have any info. I also know the previous owners name.

If you bought it from a dealer - you should ask them to forward your cell to the previous seller to review the modifications (typically they won't release that info to you). Ask them to pass the message along and odds are that person will call you to help out.

Or, check the glove box. I found the previous owners check book in mine... phone number right there. ha.

Where is the WCCH mark on heads located? I, myself would like to check if previous owner did the heads when he did the cam install.

P.S. Congrats on picking up the Z as well!!!

Random, then dealer gave me his name and I have sent him a message via facebook, no response yet.

Rated, the engraving is on the front of the head, facing nose of car, just inside of center. May have to pull covers to see it.

Thanks for trying! Really would like to know what cam is in it without tearing it apart.

Enjoy that thing at sea level!

Just left the fort worth area last month on vacation and was amazed at the Z power the dif in altitude makes.

Thanks guys! Shes definitely a BEAST. I'm going to schedule some dyno time with 21st Century to make sure the tune is good, just in case.

I'm always going to miss my 08 Z51. With 21st Century CMC40 cam, LG long tubes it made 490rwhp. She ran hard and sounded amazing through the Corsas. The pull was linear and built with rpm. The handling was good and I had recently added z06 shocks. Now, the Z (blue ***** as my gf calls it) is a brute. It has ludicrous mid range grunt. It pulls ridiculously hard at any rpm in any gear before 5th. The Z51 would push you back in your seat. The Z06 peels the skin off your face and then kicks you in the nuts.

I had a C6Z51, sold it last year and bought a daily, now looking for my z06. I think I just fell in love even more with the JSB and those wheels..wow. Congrats and it must pull like a beast.

Meh. It's ok. I know a guy named Ryan that picked up one just like it last weekend. That guy has issues.... Hopefully this car is in better hands!
