I have the Escort 9500ix and the Escort Laser Shifter I installed myself. It is a great package. As others have said, laser jammers are illegal in certain states. In states where they are legal they are fun to use and will save you a lot of grief. Just be safe and careful. No system is completely foolproof.

I have the 9500ix and passport max love them both go with either no tickets here but still have to drive smart not at 120 thinking you won't get a ticket because you still can.

I use a V1.

But do know that if you get zapped by instant on radar or laser, no detector only will save you.

These guys were using an Escort when they got popped.

I have been running a V1 for years... Saved me a bunch. I think i saw the other day that you can add the low speed module that doesn't allow it to go off either unless you are speeding or you are on the highway.

Either way you go. nothing is fool proof. Airplanes are popular around my area... I also have noticed a lot of cars these days that have center-lane protection,blind spot indicators and laser controlled cruise control set of my V1 too often.
