No plans to move back to Texas. NYC is my next stop. I'll be back to visit the parental units for the holidays though....

NYC...what the hell? My wife has a standing offer to work in NYC....but I don't think I can afford private school for 3 kids and a house with a big enough garage for all my shiz. I love NYC though, that should be a fun move. Job offer?

Nah, we live in where the public schools are good....I'd probably go to LI before I went to Jersey. My sister-in-law lives in Astoria outside of Brooklyn, but she doesn't have any kids. NYC is just a vacation spot for us, maybe once the kids are all grown up because just like you I'd want to be in the City, but a million dollars doesn't get much house/apt in NYC like it does in Houston or Atlanta. Good luck in your job search though.
