Default Any TT kits out there anymore?

Just wondering if there are still TT kits being sold out there? Seemed like APS/ ECS had a kit back then, but seems like they're not available anymore. From the looks of it, they're a nightmare to get installed w/ all the piping.

FI bug but me hard, and trying to see all viable options. I know ECS supercharger kits are being sold for a hell of a deal, so +1 for that.

Should I just stick to centri style supercharger?

TTIX, UPP, DKT and a few others. Plan on $11k+. I would have gone turbo a long time ago if there was a kit that I thought was decent but haven't seen anything that I would consider putting on my car.

Hennessey still does 800hp and 1000hp twin turbo kits...I'm sure they're not cheap. You can also hit up forum member TonyPittman...I believe he has a thread on here about his TT kit install from a while back.

Price sucks, and the install looks like a pain in the ***. Piping everywhere..

Also looked at the kits, and it seems like they have their own exhausts, from the manifolds to the tail end.

If you're running a stock motor, the low boost levels you can run would not be worth the expense of a turbo kit vs. a centri.

So running 6lbs of boost on a TT is not safe for a H/C setup?

It is safe, but why spend $11k+ when you can do a blower for $5500 and max out the motor with ease. If you were going for 1200+rwhp then a TT kit starts looking good. Order an ECS kit and be happy. It can easily make more than a stock shortblock can take.

All the good kits seem to be custom kits. Hence why blower kits are far more common. Price, ease of install n results

Agreed.... Stock engine with a TT kit dont really mix. We have done one and could not get the boost to stay low enough.

I have the STS Twin Turbo installed on my car with stock bottom end, ported heads, throttlebody, headers and made 612RWHP with 6 lbs of boost on a safe tune. I love the kit as it's a clean install and have room to upgrade when I'm ready. I bought my twin turbo used from NextLevelPerformance as it had 1,100 miles on it plus they did the installation so I walked out the door at a reasonable price.

Not all systems are $11K+. We're just finishing up on our Z06 system right now, should be ready in a couple weeks here. The nice thing about the turbo systems is they can grow with you without the need to switch head units, 8rib kits, etc.

On a stock kit almost 13... We stopped revving it around 8 at like 4500... We modified the springs an waste gates and saw 8 at 6k so i set his limiter there..> Car is from MD and still together almost 2 years later now but it wasnt easy.

That's what I would essentially want. The ability to grow without changing major components. Yet again, you should be able to boost more on the ECS kit by changing the pulley correct?

Was this just on a "stock" car? No cam, heads etc?

We have 5 new APS kits left for the C6 (non Z06) along with the APS Stainless TT exhaust systems that we have on sale, look at the following thread,

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-p...urbo-kits.html

Thanks, Geoff.

What will this require to fit a Z06?

Didn't notice the picture of the front nose of your car, these kits wouldn't supply enough volume for the LS7 without changing a bunch including upgrading the turbo's, sorry.
