Default LS7 in crate from GM

Hi, I was having an airplane built with an LS7 but the manufacture has ran into problems and I have elected to sell. The motor is still in the crate from GM I purchased new on 7/11. It is currently located in Indianapolis, never touched and stored indoors,. I paid $14522 from GM parts. Standard crate has: intake manifold with injectors, fuel rails, throttle body, dry sump oil pan, exhaust manifolds, flywheel & clutch, harmonic dampener, water pump and pulley, coil packs, spark plugs and wires and engine sensors.

I have listed it on ebay but just getting dirtbags trying to swindle me. Interested parties PM or respond. Current asking price is $11900. AAA Cooper seems to have decent shipping rates.

Those interested in seeing what aircraft I was putting it on can look: http://members.iquest.net/~aca/
very cool setup.

Jeff

Interesting airplane. Looks a little like the Cirrus and the Cessna Corvalis (the old Columbia). I would have been a little concerned about having the LS7 somewhere other than on the ground though.

That reminded me of this article where they evaluated, among other engines, the LS7 for aircraft.

Not a good deal to me, anyone who knows someone at a dealer can get it for less than that.

does the engine come with any parachutes? i would assume those would be mandatory for using such an engine in an airplane

I tried...no takers. Sits covered in garage. Maybe I'll drive it again; maybe not. Bikes are more fun. Don't know about aircraft, though.
