Default Anyone running aluminum lug nuts?

I see aluminum lug nuts listed in great colors like blue or red, but are these safe to used on a performance street machine? It just seems questionable to me.

I run these titanium ones. Lightweight, strong and no Corvette tax:

Those are a really good deal. I used to sell lug nuts just like these and I had to buy the blanks and finish machine them myself. I couldn't even buy the blanks from my supplier for what they are selling them for.

P.S. Aluminum? Not me. One of the biggest problems is when you mount and dismount your wheels is that the aluminum threads have a tendency to gall and wear without you really noticing. I used to run aluminum lug nuts on my drag car but I would throw them away after about 3 or 4 on/off cycles and I was super careful not to over torque them. I would never run them on a car that turns as hard as our Z's.

I have used aluminum on my street cars for years with no issues, as well as plenty of others.

But damn, those OZMO's are a steal at that price.
