Velocity Yellow Z with Competition Gray wheels?
Thinking about changing from the polished split spokes on my VY 2006Z. Anyone have pictures of a VY Z06 with split spoke competition gray wheels?

Thanks guys - I'm sold. I ordered as set of split spoke competition gray wheels from House of Wheels yesterday. I forgot about lug nuts ... looks like the photos have competition gray lug nuts? I guess I could use any color ... maybe black?

I had polished wheels stripped, painted OEM comp gray and cleared 5 times. I've always like comp gray, everyone around here has black wheels on everthing, and chrome is just not for me. Its a nice unique look. I've only seen 3-4 Z06s in person with Comp gray.

Awesome, enjoy.
I had great luck with the Michelins for years. They are quiet, grippy, and wear very well. I am ordering a set of R888s this season to try as a blended DD/track day tire to avoid the hassle of switching wheels. I will post up results as the miles accumulate.

Wow Ive never thought about that combination before, VY and comp gray looks amazing. Your car is gorgeous ConfusedGarage. I have black wheels on my machine silver z right now but I am very strongly considering comp gray, yal are right everyone has black wheels now.

Thanks Bill - went with the PS2 ZP. Haven't had a flat on the Z but we've had several flats from road debris on the daily drivers over the last few years. So went with ZP. My GYs are still good and I'm keeping the original wheels so I will switch back to those occasionally.
