I also would think a c6z would be faster than a c7. the c7 forum guys seem arrogant and very sensitive what you say about the c7, and the red c7 guy is there chosen one.

C7 is sweet... For the base car, I like it! For me though, I prefer the C7Z, and not for a while. My C6Z is fast and handles great. No need to change things up. Not for a few more years.
These guys think anything not C7 is "obsolete" as one of them put it. These new to corvette buyers need to embrace the culture offered by the corvette community, and act a little more decent towards everyone.

You would think these C7 guys are in a Ford VS Chevy battle or something. No respect for other gen corvettes. They must feel the need to justify the money spent, or just need to feel superior somehow.

I don't say that. Only the C7 guys were saying that. Now I fully believe the C7Z will hand even some of us modified guys our asses. C7 Z51 was never meant to compete with the C6Z. It was a successor to the C6 Z51/Grandsport. But don't say that in the C7 section They will lose their minds.
Well, for those new to this forum - it has always been like that in here. A new shiny penny comes out, then those with the shiny penny think they can just take down the older nikcle.
I too think the new C7Z (the shiny nickle) will put a hurtin' on the C6Z...even if the C6Z is lightly modified.
Remember, it took a heavier than usual modified C5Z to take down a stock C6Z - I believe the same will apply once the C7Z hit the streets.

Thanks,

I'd like to run a C7Z in my heads/cam C6Z. Should be a good run I think. Whoever picks up a C7Z in NorCal, send me a message
Gotta get it done before I too end up in a C7Z eventually lol.

I think if you could take a ZR1 (a heads/cam C6Z should) you could take a C7Z.

I'm with you man - the modded C6Z vs. stock C7Z should be interesting IF the new car makes the kind the power we think it will and IF they don't make it into a pork like in the case of the C6ZR1. Remember, the ZR1 is heavy (compared to the Z06) and it gets heat soaked fast when racing back and forth thus advantage goes to modded C6Z.
Thanks,
Carlos

Really, what is up with the C7 owners? Sense of entitlement maybe? That part of the forum is a blast to read when bored.

Thing about a C7Z (or ZR1), is all it will take is exhaust, pully, and a tune. Should give them a good bit more power then I am making if they respond like the ZR1's do.
I'm just shy of 600 RWHP.
