[Z06] best replacement tires for 2009 Z06

There are 10 or 20 threads on this already on here. The consensus is don't buy anything that says run flat on it. Stay away from anything that says Goodyear on it. Buy most things that say Michelin on them just not run flat as they have that also. Pirelli has a kick *** tire but it's way up there price wise. I forgot what car you have but I'd get the widest thing you can buy for the model Vette you have. For Z and grand sport get 345's. For regular body style try for 315's if you think you can get them under there. Don't know if your lowered or what????
Good luck

I have the PSSs, the PSCs and the Nitto Invos for my 08 Z. (don't ask why I have 3 sets of wheels/tires for one car, cause I couldn't answer you).
I prefer the PSSs although each has their place. The PSSs and the PSCs are in 18/19 sizes and the Nittos on 19/20 size wheels.

I have Nitto NT-95's in 295/335 sizes and M PSS in the stock sizes. The PSS are much better (grip and tread wear) although I like th NT-05's. The NT-05's are almost shot and I'll replace those with 285/345 PSS.

I put Michelin SS2 on my 10, Z06, in October. Unfortunately, in Minnesota, its in hibernation till April.
They seemed to handle and grip the road better than the run flat GY originals. They seem quieter, but not as much as I had hoped for.

Should be tons of threads around here....
Stay away from Goodyears if you want something to last.
Lot of street miles Michelins will provide probably the best mix of grip and life. I had almost 36k miles on my first set of Michelin PS II ZP (run flats) and the Super Sports went on after that with slightly better ride and should have lasted about the same (sold the car).
I had Nitto Invo's on my base C6 before...didn't have as much grip and a bit more side wall flex..should be able to put 30k miles on those and it is a cheaper tire. Not as good in the rain as the Michelin's.
