My JSB ZR1
After searching for several months finally found the ZR1 for me and pulled the trigger. One owner 2011 JSB, located in Texas. It was located at a carmax and priced fairly. A review of the carfax showed all of the service done at the dealership of origin. Slightly more than 13k miles. So I had the car shipped to a carmax dealership in the upstate of South Carolina for $450. No commitment from me, if I did not like the car I could walk minus the $450. When the car first arrived here my carmax guy Tony noticed lots of wheel hop at slow speeds and tight turns so they actually sent it to a local dealership to have it checked out. Everything checked out OK and what we were experiencing was outlined in a service bulletin. I gotta give props to the guys at carmax, one of the best car buying experiences I've had, who would have guessed. So I traded in my beloved E92 m3. We picked up our M3 in Germany back in the summer of 2011 through the European delivery program, drove it for two weeks in Europe then had the car shipped back to the performance center in Spartanburg SC for pickup. Early impressions of the ZR1 are that the car looks good, really good. I love the way the doors open. For such a monster in has a very forgiving clutch and gear box and is quite easy to drive. First purchase will be new tires as I am guessing the PS2 on the car are original. Traction is poor with any significant acceleration. Here are a few pictures of the old and new.

Congrats on the car. Man Euro delivery looks like fun. I still have my E90M3, even with an ESS600 supercharger, it kind of feels like a slug compared to the ZR1. Love the color, mine is JSB as well.

Haven't been thinking about that much. Well maybe headers and a billy boat exhaust would be cool. I also like those black centennial cup wheels which will need to be wrapped in some Pilot sport cups. Also love the way the chrome black race mesh looks. And once I get accustomed to the stock power a LPE 710 upgrades seems pretty reasonable. Of course before I do anymore runway events I will need some drag wheels/tires. But really haven't been thinking about it much

With the BMW European delivery program there is no cost to the consumer, the shipping and re-delivery are all included. So I don't know.
