That's the model to have (the "S" being the top of the food chain).
The Panamera can carry four adults and luggage for all of them; very practical. The steering is incredibly good, and the chassis is very balanced. It doesn't drive "big" at all. The Turbo tied to the PDK is really quick with minimal turbo lag (gobs of torque) and you'll quickly forget that the car is a sedan that can carry what it does. PDK is a great transmission, but frankly, you'll probably transition rapidly to simply leaving the transmission in "drive" as you might find that either paddle shifting or stick shift bumping gets old fairly quickly. The car is great to drive though even in full automatic. The car's fit and finish is top shelf.

The Panamera has quite a bit of front hood visible from the driving position, mainly seen as "tall" and giving a visual "bigger" sight picture vs the Vette, though the car's handling and steering feel tends to minimize this visual because the steering is light, responsive, and offers great feedback.
The Panamera's seats are really good, and the car rides very solidly; like it was carved out a single piece of billet aluminum.

Context...
Notch - "Which model Panamera?"
jerseydrew - "09-10 turbo"
Notch - "That's the model ["turbo", as identified by jersydrew] to have (the "S" [Turbo S, in context, since we are talking about the Turbo] being the top of the food chain)"
