This thread is a classic example of EVERY price thread ever started on Corvette Forum. The owners of said car think it is worth more than it is, the inquirers of said car think it is worth less than it really is. Add the two together and divide by 2. That's what the car is really worth and I guess I need lots of these in my post

Burning Brakes
At Mecum Auction, live from Anaheim S203.1
It is a 2010 black w/black wheels, Caravaggio interior and 850 hp, said to do high 9's in the 1/4 mile. They didn't seem to know too much about them, acknowledged that they are monsters stock, "should knock on the door of 200 mph" Lol...
They didn't mention Caravagio, just noted it was a custom interior, but I recognized that it was from the carbon fiber Daytona seats. ZERO interest in it, bid only reached $65k without meeting reserve, did not sell.
I'd buy it myself except one is enough, nice.

January 2014. A month and ten day from now.
That’s right folks, if you’ve been staying up late whispering prayers to your bedside statue of Zora Arkus-Duntov just hoping that Chevy would put out a hi-po version of its stellar Stingray, you know, because 460hp isn’t really enough, your invocations have been answered. This is the first glimpse and we’ve confirmed that it is a shot of the front tire (Michelin Pilot Sport Cup), vent and front of the door.
According to Chevrolet, “It will be the most track capable Corvette ever, designed to deliver supercar levels of performance through unique powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features.” The 2015 Corvette Z06 will be revealed during the Detroit show’s press days, January 13-14. Have thoughts?

My thoughts are who cares, it's 2013 and i drive a ZR1 which the badest Vette out and when the next badest Vette comes out i'll have it too.
what are you driving these days?

As for what I am driving these days it would be what I choose from the National Executive selection lot at the Airport. It is winter in Michigan and all my Vettes are put away until next spring.
I did not mean to rub you the wrong way. The New ZR1 is an excellent machine and it has it place in history.
As for what I own all you have to do is read my signature.
