[Z06] What should I realistically pay for a Z06?

Realistically you are WAY low on what the Z06 is worth. Ah yes the 2014 C7 is out the prices must be falling like a rock...Nope.
Of course year, mileage and condition are going to play a roll in any deal you find.
My 2008 is still listed at $48-51 on the blue book sites. Could I get that? Probably not, but it won't sell for $40k either. Probably the $44-46k range, but I have low miles and a rare/desirable color.
I recommend hunting the 2006 maybe a 2007. My buddy just let is 2007 go for $43k with 20k miles, tasteful mods and the head fix done.
Good luck.

NOBODY uses NADA or blue book values to dictate a cars actual value. A bank or credit union might to determine loan value.
Manheim and black book are closer to the actual market value of a car. Dealerships skew the market for their own price gouging purposes, and frankly rip people off.
Actually some are ~1.99% right now.

If a motivated buyer was involved, they would tend sell for a bit more than that (usually at a dealer).
If a motivated seller was involved, they would tend to sell for a bit less than that.
When a relative had a car totaled by a collision involving another driver, that driver's insurance company used NADA to dictate the actual value of my relative's car (the amount of the check they wrote).
YMMV.

Prices are all over the map. There doesn't seem to be any standard at all. I saw one dealer with an '08 3LZ with18K miles list for $45 and others with a 1LZ and 30K miles list for $52. No rhyme or reason.

Asking prices, not selling prices.
When a buyer shows up, you can always adjust the price down. Up, not so much
Of course some buyers, such as myself, won't even approach an overpriced car. But on a dealer's lot, they'll eventually snag someone.

I see people come in to the local club advertising their car for a very high price and when no one bites, their next post is how they sold it to a dealer for $10K less than they were asking. Nice.
Pretty sure the '08 3LZ sold for $45 and change. I made a low offer on it and they didn't even counter. Should have bought that one but was looking for '09 at the time. I know that an '08 2LZ w/18K miles actually sold for $42K (asking was $48). What I'm having a hard time with is assigning a value based on miles. What price difference would you give for identical '09 w/20K vs 40K miles?

lol, yeah right, I tried to tell people that on here. Most were saying the second the C7 hit the showroom the C6Z06 would drop like a rock. Now just wait for the $100k+ new Z to come out and see how $40-45k for a C6Z sounds then lol.
