Default I'm out baby...I'm out

2007 Z06 tap tap tap engine replaced with a 2013 Nissan Frontier.

I was a little apprehensive until the drive home, but I have to say I made the right decision.

When I hit my first pothole while listening to my bluetooth connected ipod on the voice operated navigation system, I knew I made the right decision.

The Z was a fun ride, but I'm glad I kept my C5 when I got the Z, so that way I still have something to fall back on.

I still think Gm should be ashamed, but that's another story.

It's sad the valve issue has scared people to this point.

I know. Were you around when the loose axle nut thing hit? Man, there was pandemonium that our axles were going to fly off.

Sold mine as well. And, replaced it with.... nothing! (for now)

Still like checking in here and seeing what is going on. Will be back in a Vette eventually.

Not a bad little truck, I had a red 07 crew cab about 5 years ago that unfortunately got struck by lighting while I was driving in a thunderstorm . Poor truck only had 12k miles on it, it stayed at the dealership for about 3 months getting repaired. They replaced all the computers, modules and several wiring harnesses, luckily my insurance covered it. Needless to say I traded it in for a brand new 09 Ram crew cab as soon as I got it back lol. I'd still take a frontier anyday over an overpriced Tacoma, good luck with yours bud.

Nissan Frontier's are nice trucks. I test drove a Kingcab with a 6 speed manual and the 4.0L six cylinder. I was pleasantly surprised how well that truck ran.

jedblanks, I see you have a Mustang in your Avatar. It might be time to upgrade to a Boss 302, Supersnake or GT500.

Should have bought a GTR instead of the Frontier....

That is why I'm glad I read this forum, so I can learn from the experiences of others. I will not be buying a car with LS7 because I don't want to be worrying about the engine falling.

Sorry about the Z but congrats and enjoy the Frontier. I'm glad you still have your C5 and are still a part of the Corvette family.
