Default It has finally happened...

When I first bought my Z a little over a year ago, I heard a lot of people say, "You'll get used to the power and want more." This is the most powerful car I've owned so I scoffed at that statement.

Fast forward a year. Downshifted into second at 60 and realized it just doesn't feel as fast anymore (butt reading of course). So, I am now a believer! Lol. Told my wife that I want to add some goodies to it once the warranty is up!

Now, having said that, the car's power still shocks the heck out of any buddy who gets to ride in the passenger seat!

This is true. Horsepower junkies will always want more. Just be careful what you wish for. There is a limit to usable horespower on the street. I have gotten in a situation before where my car makes so much power, that it actually takes away from the enjoyment as all you are doing is spinning wheels.

Definitely agree and I would only look to bump 75 - 100rwhp. Head work, mild cam, etc. I want to track the car eventually so weight reduction mods are another option.

Engine Mods for your Z06 equivalent to what this 1972 LSx based "sleeper Nova" has should improve butt readings. - I want this NOVA !

x1,000.

I love all fast, best bang for the buck cars, and one of my previous cars was an SRT-4 with a Stage 3 turbo.

You had to watch how much pedal you gave it from a dead stop. And forget about beating anyone in that thing from a stop with that much power\FWD. It actually detracted from the car.

It was more fun to drive when it was stock, believe it or not, because you didn't have to worry about those things. You just drove the heck out of it.

Ha ha ha...........it's all relative I guess. My car was modded 3 days after I bought it had 391 miles on it.

In it's final rendition with about 550rwhp it was about perfect. Hooked decent enough didn't need DR's all the time. Fun car!!

Just the opposite for me. The Z regularly reminds me that its capabilities exceed mine.
