[Z06] Traded the Z for a '13 Boss 302

Love my Z.......GM, not so much.
If I had to get another car a Boss 302 would be my second choice. A used Ford GT would be first choice but at $150,000.00 + thats not gonna happen.

I realize that having millions of v6s siblings running around may put some off, but this keeps the "mustang" tax non-existent. It also makes the car more of a sleeper to those that don't know.
Rumors are GM is toying with a v6 entry level corvette. Hence the "base" model being called a stingray. Would that change anyone's perception of the corvette?
You can't sell very many 100k cars unless you indoctrinate young buyers with something they can afford. A 30k vette would sell like hot cakes and set buyers on the path to own a 50-60k vette then a 90-100k vette
Currently the same thing is happening, just that the previous generation vette is the entry level.
BTW, sometimes perception of quality is driven by the service department. The local Ford shop bends over backwards to please. The GM shop is just there to sell parts. I owned two Pontiacs and they were never worth visiting with a problem. They Chevrolet shop is worse on their best day. "Never seen that issue, but we'll be glad to sell you the parts". "Oh, those are on back order...strange"

Thanks guys, the Ford dealer seemed much more willing to take care of me AND their product. So far, I'll be a repeat customer. Here's some pics of her. Trackey installed, exhaust restrictors removed, washed, waxed and clay barred.

My first car was a 66 Mustang and really like the new Generation of the car. If I was not a total Corvette fanatic I would own one now.
Good luck with your Boss.

I am not sure Audi USA has changed their policy, but on the dealer level they support and even sell Stasis products. They also have packages already on some of the S4/5 models.
The reason they use Stasis is because they have a matching warranty to pick up where Audi leaves off.
I just love having dealer support and a matching warranty. They're other tuners who offer a little more gains, but they have no warranty (APR).
Trust me though 4xx hp & tq in the TTRS is insane and with Quattro, it puts it all down. The Euro spec models with 20 less hp than the US models stock are getting 3.6 0-60 with the double clutch tranny. We only get the 6 speed here in the US, but that 5 pot is a screamer and is bullet proof.
APR makes a stage 3 kit for the TTRS that gets it to 600 HP and 0-60 in like 2.9 seconds, crazy insane acceleration with year round usability.
I am doing the Stasis tune, rear sway bar (to dial out the understeer), and RE-11 tires. It will be a screamer, I can't wait.

Hey, great looking car! Enjoy!
I don't even know what I would choose right now if I were in the market, but I agree with the previous poster, the Boss/GT is probably the bang-for-the-buck champ right now by far.

Great looking car, Trooper! Don't let the naysayers get you down; it's to be expected to some degree since you're posting on a competitive forum. I'd certainly be interested in checking out any Boss I ran into and I hope the Boss owner would have similar thoughts about my Z.

I also agree forget what the naysayers say here, but you would have to expect that with your posting on a C6 Z06 forum.

Burning Brakes
I've got to admit, the clickety clack of my LS7 thrashing machine does get old...I have taken to driving with radio turned up loud so I can't hear the valve train noise. And after having heads replaced, it's louder still. The DOHC engine is amazingly more quiet than a pushrod.
