First impress, car idled fine, it did catch it's self alot better. Before w/ the ported LS9, if you rev'd it, the RPM's would come down slowly. Now they drop and stops exactly at 800rpm where I have the idle set.
Also when I was doing this I found a nasty problem, it had a Weapon R catch can on it... They are about as useful as a beer can with some fittings. It obviously wasn't doing it's job.
The reason the 87mm would hang after you revved it is because of the hole that was drilled in the TB. Not to say the 90mm TB isn't a good mod because I think it is, but just to let anyone know changing to it won't yield a similar result unless they have a hole drilled in theirs to start with as well.

Yea, I figured the guy who tuned this car before I bought it didnt know what they were doing. Drilling the TB is an old school way of getting them to idle if your having problems.

Correct tuners who can't tune break out the drill
But just pointing that out for others who may not know
A hole in the throttle body has its purpose on a big cam engine with a mechanical throttle body and a maxed out IAC motor. I'd love someone to use a 100mm throttle body on an LS9 and post results.
